Nowadays, I have been working on automation of tasks. I have used some tools, like Selenium, QTP / UFT and AutoIt. AutoIt is the most primitive but also the most effective one in my humble opinion. Today, I'd like to share an AutoIt automation code with you.

Calendar Template in Excel
I like keeping track of things I do. Hence, I have a list of books I read, I keep a journal at work and for social life I have a calendar where I take notes for events, dinners, parties, meetings … etc. Before I started using my current calendar, I tried finding a customizable calendar. Locating Startup Folder on Window 8
Since I have been using Windows platforms for a long time, I use Start menu’s “Startup” folder frequently to run several apps that I want to launch when I logon. Now I'm using Windows 8 and I couldn't find this folder. After searching, I found out a way to locate to this folder.
The best solution for locating Startup folder is executing one of these Shell commands from the run box (WIN+R):
shell:startup
or
shell:common startup
Hope this helps...

No Such Thing Called “Talent”
When you watch Olympics, or when you see an extreme biker, or
when you go to a circus, you probably think the same thing as I do: how can
they do it? Well, at first it all seems to be about talent, a gift given from
God to some certain people even before they were born. This also means that not
everybody is able to do those tricks and even if someone works hard enough, he
or she won’t be as successful as these guys. This is true to a certain point.
What would you say if told you that you could be one of these guys with enough time and training? [1] |

Quote of the Day
