My wife and I have been thinking about a travel logging idea. Keeping a soft journal (like a Word document or Google custom maps) was too synthetic, it doesn't involve hand work. We put it in the kitchen so that we can see it everyday. Also, we are using thumbnail size photos and 4 color marker pens to customize the map and mark the spots.
